Programm

For the very first time, FAVORITE FALL is trying out another new format.

What happens when your local university meets your local brewery?

Together with Bräuhaus Ten.Fifty, at the Favorite Fall, we are bringing scientific research out of the university and into a space where people already come together: over a beer, at a table, in conversation.

SCIENCE ON TAP is our attempt to make scientific knowledge and discussion more accessible, informal and open to everyone — whether you regularly engage with academic research, haven’t been to university in years, or have never been to university at all.

No academic background required. No prior knowledge required. Just curiosity.

CEU's  political science PhD student Markus Pollak takes us into the world of international election observation:

OBSERVING THE OBSERVERS

A study on international election observation

What do international election observers actually do? Who watches over democratic elections — and what happens when democracy itself is under pressure?

The talk will be followed by an open discussion with the audience.

The event will be mostly in English, but questions and contributions in German are very welcome!

Come early, enjoy a locally brewed craft beer at Bräuhaus Ten.Fifty, and stay a little longer:

19:30 — Small Souki & The Big Trouble Band. Because science, good conversations, good beer and live music might actually belong together.
